1. Description of Cord anchorage pull force and torque tester
The cord anchorage pull force and torque tester is designed according to IEC62196-1 clause 25.3 figure 17 and IEC60309-1 clause 23.3, It is used to test tension and torque on the electric vehicle plug and vehicle connectors provided with a flexible cable, it shall not be possible to push the cord into the appliance to such an extent that the cord or internal parts of the appliance could be damaged.
The test method is to make a mark on the cord at a distance of approximately 20mm from the cord anchorage or other suitable point, and then apply steady pull force to cord for 100 times with a speed of 1 times/s. Then apply a torque as close as possible to the appliance for 1 minute. After the test, the displacement of the cord marking position shall not exceed the displacement shown in pull force and torque table.

3. Structure of cord anchorage pull force and torque tester
It adopts the weight to apply tension, weights and torque arms to achieve torque. Use the preset counters and digital timer to control the test times of applied tension and torque test time. The equipment weill automatically stops when the test times or the test time is reached. After the test, the maximum allowable displacement of the flexible cable of the charging gun connector shall not exceed the standard required value.
